We were so excited to capture Sheila and Chris’ wedding. They were so much fun to work with at their engagement shoot, and we couldn’t wait to see them again!

They said their vows at the stunning Kohl Mansion, and it was a fairytale location. Fittingly, when Sheila and Chris first saw each other, it was as they crossed the dance floor to dance with each other. That’s a fairytale in itself!

We had such a wonderful time with Megan and Ray at their engagement shoot, so we couldn’t wait to return to Durst Winery to photograph their big day – complete with their two little ones!

Megan and Ray’s big day was all about family and making a beautiful day for everyone.  They brought in Fall colors (and sequins!) for their October wedding, and it was the perfect way to bring a cozy atmosphere to their wedding.  Of course, the best part of their wedding day was them!  Their smiles and laughs were absolutely contagious.  You couldn’t look at them without smiling yourself!

Yeny & David’s Elegant Fairytale Wedding

Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.com

Yeny and David were all smiles at their big day at the Rengstorff House.  Everything about their wedding was pure elegance and simply stunning!

yeny.david.6ASH_2142_1yeny.david.4yeny.david.7

We absolutely loved their whites, pinks, blues, gold, and green decor.  And that couch at their sweetheart table was simply wedding goals!  Plus, with a backdrop like Rengstorff and Shoreline Lake, you can’t go wrong!  We particularly loved their favors – they had cookies made to look just like them!  It was so cute, and it was a unique idea too.  Of course, what made the day truly special was them!  They were so happy and full of love, and it was truly a treat to witness.

Kristy & Kevin’s Enchanting Forest Wedding

Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.com

We’ve been counting down the days until Kristy and Kevin’s big day ever since photographing their sweet lighthouse engagement shoot.  It was all laughter and smiles the whole time, so we knew their wedding day would be something truly special, and it was!

Kristy and Kevin’s ceremony was picturesque.  They exchanged vows under a gorgeous chandelier with the woods and bridge in the background.  Their first kiss was so sweet that the officiant even had them kiss again!

Their reception was an absolute blast, and you can’t beat the gorgeous background of the stone bridge!  They had laid out sweet blankets for their guests for the nighttime, provided a photo booth so guests could take home photo strips (courtesy of ShootAnyAngle Photography), had great music for guests to dance to (courtesy of DJ Aaron Eegle), and had a wide selection of yummy cupcakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes!   There was even a campfire and s’more makings for once the sun went down.  Whether dancing the night away or catching up with family and friends or enjoying one (or two) s’mores, each and every person there had a wonderful time.

Ariel and David’s Old Hollywood Wedding Premiere

Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.com

We were so excited for Ariel and David’s Old Hollywood wedding, especially after having so much fun at their film noir engagement shoot!  They chose the beautiful Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross, CA, which has so many beautiful spots to take photos!

ariel.david.4JAH_0446ariel.david.5ASH_3590

Everything about the day was beautiful, but nothing could hold a candle to the joy of the bride and groom.  They couldn’t stop staring at each other!  Everyone at the wedding was talking about how perfect Ariel and David are for each other and how you just know they will always be together – and they definitely will be!

ariel.david.6Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.comariel.david.2JAH_0842Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.comASH_3829

The Old Hollywood theme was one of our favorites.  It was a perfect fit for Ariel and David, who are both in the film industry.  Film reels hung from the ceremony gazebo and decorated the cake table, film strips were presented on the welcome table and cake table,  and the cake was straight out of The Great Gatsby (complete with mini Mr. and Mrs. director chairs!).  They even used our engagement photos as their guestbook!  The photos were printed and laid on a welcome table, and guests were asked to autograph them.  They had even printed a movie poster using one of the photos to put on their own red carpet backdrop for guests to take photos on like they were celebrities at a premiere!

ASH_4280ariel.david.3Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.com

This was a very special wedding for us, one we’ve been waiting for since we first met Ariel and David back in 2015 at another wedding.  We love spending time with them both, and their wedding was simply stunning.  There was another, more personal reason why this wedding will always stand out in our minds.  As you may know, we are currently expecting.  While finishing up photos with the bride and groom (and right after the photo below), we felt the baby move for the first time – and towards the bride and groom!  Looks like someone else wanted to congratulate the happy couple too!

Chelsea & Branden’s Sweet Palo Alto Wedding

Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.com

Chelsea and Branden were married surrounded by family and friends in Palo Alto.  Since family is important to them, they created a very sweet and intimate wedding that even included their adorable dog, Happy!  Since it was a small guest list, everyone felt blessed and special to be there – including us!

chelsea.branden.4ASH_1326chelsea.branden.2JAH_9393Photos by ShootAnyAngle Photography, shootanyangle.com

Chelsea loves Disney, and Branden loves VW cars (which fits myself and James perfectly!), so we were bound to have a great time with these two!  For photo hour, we all traveled to a nearby park for some fun photos with the bridal party and with Branden’s car!

One of our favorite details of their wedding day was their donut cake.  It was so beautifully done, and we instantly were gaga over it.  After donuts, guests enjoyed an amazing first dance prepared by the couple.  It started off as the classic slow dance but quickly turned into a fast paced choreographed hip hop style dance.  It was the perfect way to get the guests in the mood to dance!

It was a beautiful day, and we were so blessed to photograph such a beautiful and loving couple.  Congratulations, Chelsea and Branden!

Stephanie & Jason’s Downtown San Jose Wedding

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

We were immediately excited when we learned about the locations for Stephanie and Jason’s big day: the beautiful Hotel De Anza for getting ready photos, followed by a traditional ceremony at the breathtaking Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, and finishing with a reception at the San Jose Police Officer’s Association.  It was the perfect blend of urban and traditional looks.  Plus, when you have such a great couple like Stephanie and Jason, you’re bound to get amazing shots!

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

Hotel De Anza brings their guests back to the class of the 40s, so it was a great backdrop for Stephanie & Jason and their bridal party.  Located in Downtown San Jose, we were able to utilize the the city and even the roof of the building to bring in a classy urban feel.  The sweet details of the sunflowers in the bouquet and the stunning cathedral length veil really captured the couple’s traditional and yet fun side.

The majestic cathedral was absolutely breathtaking, and we were so honored to be able to photograph there!  Add in the gorgeous bride and groom with her beautiful Trudy’s gown, and we were definitely having all the feels!  Of course, the best part was simply seeing Stephanie and Jason together.  These two are clearly crazy for each other, and it shows!  We were so delighted to be a part of their beautiful day.

Jessica & David’s Romantic Nature Wedding

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

Jessica and David’s beautiful day was at the historic Rengstorff House in Mountain View, California.  They chose a romantic nature feel for their wedding, and it was perfect.  We loved it all – from the floral crown to the lego tie clips to the moss and wooded centerpieces.  There were so many beautiful little details that we were just head over heels for!  Plus, it made the wedding so much more personal to the couple.  Jessica even had a handmade gown designed and made by one of her bridesmaids, Janelle Yee.  We absolutely adored it!  Not only did Janelle make the wedding dress, but she made her own dark green, stripped bridesmaid dress!

ShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

Instead of choosing just one color for the bridesmaids, Jessica chose two – mint and dark green.  The combination was simply beautiful for photographs, and they blended great with the guys’ floral ties and grey suits.

ShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

The centerpieces brought in a fantastical woodland element complete with little butterflies and birds as chandeliers and bistro lights hung from wires above.  To add in an even more personal touch, the bride and groom used a family heirloom cake topper on their own cake!

ShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

The best part of the wedding was the bride and groom themselves.  Jessica and David are so fun to be around, and every moment with them is a blast.  They and the father of the bride even requested that they get a photo with us!  It was so sweet. They are the perfect match, and it’s such a treat to watch the two of them together.  There is never a shortage of love or laughter, and everyone can feel it.  We love these two!

Jenna & Jack’s Sweet Winery Wedding – Complete with the Milky Way!

ShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyAfter a sweet ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, Jenna and Jack created a beautiful wedding in the scenic Los Gatos hills to share with their friends and family. Every moment of the wedding was simply stunning – straight out of a magazine! The wedding had a very intimate feel both in setting and in feeling. As a photographer, we absolutely love when couples have sweet private moments in which they can only see each other despite being surrounded by others. Jenna and Jack had so many of these moments. You can tell just by looking at the photos that they truly are each other’s best friend and the love of their lives.

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

ShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

As Jenna and Jack got ready for their big day, there were no nerves or fears, just tranquility and pure joy knowing what was coming. You could feel the support and love from all the couple’s friends and family as they prepped for the big day and entered the ceremony site. The ceremony was officiated by the couple’s good friend, Sean, and included little anecdotes about the couple – such as their love of Netflix and Facebook!

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

After the ceremony, the guests delighted in taking a big group shot with the couple and mingling with a glass of Regale Wine in their hands as dinner was set up. The long rows of tables had a gorgeous view looking out over the mountains (and bocce court!) under beautiful bistro lights. As wedding photographers, we’ve heard lots and lots of toasts. These were some of our favorites. To start, the groom’s siblings gave them funny gifts for their lives together – including a flag that had been created especially to combine their two home countries, Canada and the United States. The maid of honor and parents of the bride had truly touching toasts about their beautiful daughter / sister and how clear it was that the couple constantly made each other better and happier than they had ever been before.

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

Once the dance floor opened up, the guests really started to show off their skills! The floor was constantly occupied, as was the nearby photo booth! We managed to sneak the bride and groom away for a special photoshoot though. In the Bay Area, it’s rare to find someplace where you can see the Milky Way, and it’s quite hard to photograph surrounded by so many lights of the city. We knew the couple loved the idea of night photography, but we didn’t tell them until that night what we hoped to get. At this mountain venue, we had limited lights around us, and the venue kindly turned off their outdoor lights as well. As the saying goes, “the starts aligned perfectly” to get the shots we had hoped for – the beautiful bride and groom under the Milky Way.

ShootAnyAngle Wedding Photography

ShootAnyAngle Wedding PhotographyAs we watched everyone leave at the end of the night, every single person had a huge smile on their face. Jenna and Jack wanted to make sure they had a wedding everyone could enjoy and cherish, and they certainly did just that. These two light up when they are together, and their life together is sure to be a beautiful one.
