Maria and Ryan’s Legion of Honor Engagement Shoot

One of the great perks of doing what we do is that it tends to bring old friends back into our lives.  Maria is a friend from high school, but we had lost touch over the years.  I was so excited to hear from her, and we are thrilled to be shooting her engagement and wedding!

It was so nice to once again shoot at the iconic Legion of Honor, and Maria and Ryan made it so much fun!  They were up for anything, and it’s quite clear that they make each other very happy.  We always love seeing couples interact.  It’s such a treat to photograph!

Charleigh & Chris’ Western Engagement Shoot

When Charleigh and Chris first told us their idea to include their passions in their engagement shoot, we were all for it!  Engagement shoots are the perfect time to incorporate hobbies and to shoot in a location that means a lot to the couple.  So, we made plans to visit the property of a close friend of the bride – and it was the perfect backdrop!

Charleigh and Chris have such warmth between the two of them, and they are clearly head over heels for each other!  They both love horses and archery (and they even go to a yearly competition in Las Vegas).  We loved capturing their story, and we can’t wait to photograph their next chapter!

Kristy & Kevin’s Enchanting Forest Wedding

We’ve been counting down the days until Kristy and Kevin’s big day ever since photographing their sweet lighthouse engagement shoot.  It was all laughter and smiles the whole time, so we knew their wedding day would be something truly special, and it was!

Kristy and Kevin’s ceremony was picturesque.  They exchanged vows under a gorgeous chandelier with the woods and bridge in the background.  Their first kiss was so sweet that the officiant even had them kiss again!

Their reception was an absolute blast, and you can’t beat the gorgeous background of the stone bridge!  They had laid out sweet blankets for their guests for the nighttime, provided a photo booth so guests could take home photo strips (courtesy of ShootAnyAngle Photography), had great music for guests to dance to (courtesy of DJ Aaron Eegle), and had a wide selection of yummy cupcakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes!   There was even a campfire and s’more makings for once the sun went down.  Whether dancing the night away or catching up with family and friends or enjoying one (or two) s’mores, each and every person there had a wonderful time.
